IRCC, which was formerly CIC, are extremely specific with everything they look for in a Spousal Sponsorship Application. In all Spousal Sponsorship applications, you must ensure you complete the application forms in full and that they are as accurate as can be. Additionally, the questions on the forms can be the most important and most confusing part of the application process. Many times when people are confused as to what the questions on the forms are asking of them, they do not ask for help from an Immigration professional and this can cause them a refusal on their application. It is extremely important to understand what the questions are asking and answer them accordingly. Furthermore, you must not leave any blank spaces on the forms as IRCC is extremely specific with this. If something does not apply to you, it is better to put not applicable then to leave something blank or unanswered. Other important factors on Spousal Sponsorship applications are determining who the sponsor is and who the applicant is, and incomplete supporting documents.
