Temporary Resident Permit (TRP) is a document to overcome inadmissibility issues there are many reasons you can be Denied Entry to Canada ranging from criminal, health or financial reasons. The number one inadmissibility is due to having a criminal record such as DUI, misdemeanor, misrepresentation, felony, theft charge etc. To help you overcome your situation you need to apply for TRP that allows you temporary entry into Canada. This can be done either at the Port of Entry or Consulate level. Depending on your offense and when you have completed the sentence, probation, fine or whatever that was imposed on you, you may then be eligible for the permanent document known as Criminal Rehabilitation application. When your Criminal Rehabilitation application gets approved you can then travel with ease to Canada as long as you don’t reoffend.
Many applicants have attempted to submit their own application but have been unsuccessful for not providing the documents that the immigration officer is looking for or missing important details in the form. It is recommended to consult with an immigration expert prior to starting your application.
