Refused Entry to Canada?

Did you try to enter Canada and got refused?

The process of applying for entry is very stressful, and if you get rejected, you may feel stressed out and confused. Do not take any chances at the border. We will help you apply for the right document and make it hassle-free for you.

The procedure you should follow may seem simple but it is advised to take the necessary guidance or help from consultants and firms so that you don’t make any mistakes.

If you are from the United States, then you may want to apply for Temporary Resident Permit (TRP) at the airport or land crossing. If you apply at a land crossing, the officer will decide right then and there if you have overcome your inadmissibility.

Risks Involved in Applying for the Temporary Resident Permit at the Port of Entry

There are a few risks involved if you try to apply for a Temporary Resident Permit TRP at the border:

  1. The applicant may get refused if there are any mistakes in the application or if he is not under the eligible criteria.
  2. The applicant may be asked to withdraw their application at the border and be turned away at the land crossing.
  3. The applicant may be detained at the border
  4. The applicant may be deported back to their home country

Validity of a TRP

The Temporary Resident Permit will last for varied times depending on the case. The TRP can be valid for a day up to a maximum of 3 years.

Criminal Rehabilitation

If 5 years have elapsed since you have served your sentence, you may be eligible for criminal rehabilitation. Be advised that Criminal Rehabilitation cannot be applied at the border. You must submit this application at the Consulate.
