Are you applying under the Express Entry Route and wondering if there is a list of eligible occupations? Currently there is no list of eligible occupation meaning anyone can apply under the Express Entry Route. What is important is having one year work experience in the foreign country under National Occupation Code A, B or O and then uploading your profile. The government of Canada ranks your profile amongst your peers and the candidate that ranked the highest gets an invitation to apply to continue their application for permanent residency under either Federal Skilled Trades, Federal Skilled Worker, Canadian Experience Class or the Provincial Nominee Program. You may qualify under two program but the government of Canada will ask you to provide documentation for the program they see you best fit in. Getting an invitation to apply does not guarantee getting your PR application approved, so ensure you are truthful from start as you will be asked to provide supporting documents for everything you claimed in your application.
If you have any questions for the Express Entry category and you would like us to assess and upload your application on the government portal to give you the best possible chance to be selected to get an Invitation to Apply then don’t hesitate to contact us. Remember the government of Canada promises to finalise PR application within six months of getting the invitation to apply. Give us a call and let us get you started for the Express Entry Route for your PR application to Canada.
