Visitor Visa also known as the Temporary Resident Visa (TRV) or as some call it Tourist Visa. The Temporary Resident Visa is a temporary document that allows you entry for temporary basis into Canada. What this means once your visa expires you have to exit the country or else it will cause future entry problems. A lot of times when applicants look into submitting a Visitor Visa application they focus a lot on the Invitation Letter. The Invitation Letter is an important document but not as important as showing documents that can demonstrate ties to your home country. You have to remember that not everyone has a relative or friends in Canada and therefore an Invitation Letter is not necessary but it helps if you have someone inviting you over. As long as you can provide supporting documents where you will be staying and how you will support yourself during your time of stay is what the immigration officer will be looking for. To have successful application submitted ensure you include as much documents that can demonstrate ties to your home country such as assets, property, family, job, school or whatever else that can show your intentions are temporary to Canada.
Visitor Visas are one of the most difficult visas to obtain from Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC). It is highly recommended to get the assistance of an immigration law firm to have higher chance of success in obtaining the visa.
