What is the international skilled worker category?

The International Skilled Worker Category is for skilled workers who want to work and live in Saskatchewan. If you are interested to apply under the International Skilled Worker Category, the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) is currently accepting applications. The SINP has application intake thresholds to improve program efficiency. Once the category reaches the intake threshold, the immigration website will be updated immediately that no further application will be accepted for SINP category- International Skilled Workers.

Sub-Categories:

The International Skilled Worker category has sub-categories and those are employment offer sub-category, Saskatchewan Express Entry sub-category, and Occupations In-Demand Category.

The International Skilled Worker category nominate applicants on the base of education, skilled work experience, language ability and other factors to help them to successfully establish and integrate into Saskatchewan’s labour market and communities. The streams under this category include the following:

International Skilled Worker- Employment Offer Sub-category

Under this sub-category, if you have an offer of skilled employment from a Saskatchewan employer, you may be eligible to apply for nomination by the SINP.

International Skilled Worker- Occupations In-Demand Sub-category

Under this sub-category, if you are skilled worker and you do not have employment offer from Saskatchewan employer but you are highly skilled in an occupation that is in demand in Saskatchewan, you may be eligible to apply for nomination by the SINP.

International Skilled Worker- Saskatchewan Express Entry Sub-category

Under this Sub-category, if you are in citizenship and immigration Canada’s Express Entry pool, you may be eligible to apply for nomination by the SINP.
