There are many reasons you can be Denied Entry into Canada, these can include security grounds, criminal grounds, health grounds, financial grounds and misrepresentation. If you are found inadmissible based on one of the above mentioned grounds then you may or not be eligible to apply for Temporary Resident Permit (TRP). The Temporary Resident Permit is a travel document in which you may be eligible to overcome your inadmissibility issue on temporary basis. Remember TRP documents are not status documents such as Work Permit or Study Permit. So if your intention is to work or study in Canada you must mention your inadmissibility issue in your application so that the immigration officer can make its decision based on the facts given.
Temporary Resident Permit can be filed either at consulate which take approximately 8-12 months for processing or you can submit your application at the Canadian Port of Entry and get same day decision.
Regardless of your past criminal inadmissibility contact Akrami & Associates so that we can determine based on your situation what you are eligible for and what documents you need to prepare prior to attempting to enter Canada.
With Akrami & Associates there is always a way!!
