Are you looking to submit a Live in Caregiver application? If so there are certain documents you must include with your application. The first set of documents includes the Forms, these forms include the Generic Application Form for Canada, Additional Dependants/Declaration Form if applicable, Schedule A –background declaration of each family member 18 years of age or older, Additional Family Information Form – for each family member 18 years of age or older and Use of Representative Form if applicable. Also, make sure you include two original passport size photos.
Under the Live in Caregiver Program you have two ways of submitting your application. The first way would be to include 24 months of authorized full time employment as a Live in Caregiver within four years of the time you entered Canada. This category has its own set of documents you need to include to prove you have worked 24 months in Canada as a Live in Caregiver. The second way would be to prove you have worked 3,900 hours within past 22 months in which you can include 390 hours of overtime authorized full time employment as a Live in Caregiver for the last four years since you entered Canada. Important documents you must include with your application include identity document such as valid passport page, your birth certificate, marriage certificate if you have been married, birth certificate of your children, if you have been divorced your divorce certificate. These documents must include of yourself and your family members.
Also, you must include police certificates for you and your family members since the age of 18. This would include details of all criminal convictions such as court documents, if you received any pardons or if you were convicted of an offence to make sure you include that or mention that on your application.
Any documents you submit must be translated by a certified translator in English or French if it is in a different language. If you documents are in English or French you do not require a certified translator.
When submitting your application you must include the government fees along with the document check list and mail all your documents to appropriate immigration department.
