Under the NAFTA Work Permit, there is a list of occupations that do not require a LMIA to enter Canada. One of those occupations is the NAFTA Management Consultant. Today, a lot of people want to apply to this but are confused about the job descriptions and duties that they have to convince the immigration officer they are management consultants.
A management consultant is someone who has a management consultant degree or has 5 years of work experience in this occupation. Essentially, management consultants are individuals who analyze and provide managerial methods to organizations such as conducting research to determine efficiency, conducting assessment, conducting audits basically someone who is hired on a temporary basis to assess the organization and provide recommendation for improvement ranging from customer service, financials, etc. The management consultant does not come in to do work but absorbs and researches the organization and then speaks to upper management in regards to providing recommendations on how they can advance and better their organization.
