The provincial nominee programs are geared towards filling shortages that are unique to the needs of individual provinces. The provinces of Canada enter into a bi-lateral agreement with the federal government to ensure that federal and provincial needs are being addressed.
One such program of the New Brunswick provincial Nominee Program (NBPNP) is geared towards skilled workers with family support already in New Brunswick.
Applicants should consider the following when determining whether or not they qualify.
As a Skilled Worker Applicant with family support:
The NBPNP will accept language test results for two years from the time you took the test.
You will provide evidence that you have, at a minimum:
Your job is represented in one of the following National Occupation Classification (NOC) skill levels:
You will need to submit all required forms and supporting documents to support that you qualify in each of the above mentioned requirements. If documents provided in support of Selection Factors are missing, incomplete or not able to be verified you will receive a “0” score for that selection factor. Your application will be rated on a point system. Obviously the higer you score, the better. Further, Immigration Program Officers have a right to request additional information at any time to enhance their decision making process.
You must also have the funds to settle in New Brunswick which is a minimum of $10,000 CAD and $2,000 CAD for each accompanying family member.
