The Basics of Express Entry Video

The Express Entry application process comes in two stages. The first stage is the online profile creation. This stage is submitted online and you must provide specific documents of yourself; there are four specific factors that you must include. The four factors are age, language ability, work experience and education. Within these factors, there are specific documents that must be provided to Immigration Canada. For instance, for language ability, you must prove that you can communicate in either English or French, which are Canada’s two official languages. You must prove this by taking either a CELPIP or an IELTS language proficiency test. These tests will evaluate your ability to read, write, speak, and listen in English or French. Additionally, your online profile will be valid for 12 months. What this means is that for 12 months, you have the opportunity to be invited for permanent residency. This is actually the second stage in Express Entry. Once you are invited for permanent residency to Canada, you are almost finished the Express Entry process. You can also be invited for permanent residency in Canada by several different programs, such as the Provincial Nominee Program, the Federal Skilled Worker Program, or Canadian Experience Class.
