There are three essentials to Study Permits. Study permits can be very confusing to fill out on your own so it is highly recommended that you reach out to us for assistance. The first essential is the acceptance letter into a recognised Canadian institution. Along with the acceptance letter, you also need to pay the tuition fee (prove to the officer that you have the financial support to do so). Along with the tuition fee, you need to ensure/prove to the officer that you have a sufficient amount of money that will help you reside and look after your self for the next four years or however long the duration of your study permit is.
Another essential to obtain a Study Permit is that you must demonstrate why it is important for you to Study in Canada versus your home country and use this reasoning to tie it back home. For example if you have applied for English program in Canada ensure you include why it is important for you to take that program in Canada, because if the immigration officer sees these programs are provided in your home country then he/she may not be convinced that your intent is temporary to Canada. When picking a program of study in Canada ensure that you can tie it back to your home country, how you will use what you learned back home.
The last but really crucial part of the application is demonstrating to the immigration officer that the grounds of your stay is temporary and you will leave Canada once your study permit expires. In order to prove this you need to include documents that will tie you back to your home country such employers waiting for you back home, property you own, family members that depend on you etc.
