Canadian Immigration Application Forms

When submitting your own immigration application such as Visitor Visa, Study Permit, Spousal Sponsorship, Super Visa, Work Permit or whatever it may be it is recommended to complete the forms at the end. There are two main reasons why the forms should be completed at the end first it takes time to gather the documents and secondly the forms get updated regularly. Usually, what happens applicants start filling out the forms and then complete the remainder of the forms when they have gather additional documents and at this time the government form has been updated making all your efforts go wasted. So collect all your documents first from the document the check list, once you gathered all the forms start filling out the forms. Most applicants when they submit an application they have completed an old form and not taken the latest form that is updated by CIC. The government of Canada sometimes refused the application or returns the whole application and asks you to re-do it. This can cause many delays and even cause other documents to expire and renewing important documents can be a hassle and costly.

So whatever application you are submitting whether it is temporary or permanent matter collect all your documents first then complete the forms. Make sure you have retrieved the latest updated forms from the government website (cic.gc.ca) prior to submitting your application.

Once you know what application you are submitting take a look at the forms as it guides you on what documents you need to support your argument. So take a look at the forms, make notes on it on what it is asking for then go back to collect the necessary documents. Remember do not complete the forms until the end.
