Who is Eligible to Apply for a Canadian Student Permit?

One may also opt to apply for a post-graduation work permit program. This is a three-year work permit. Study permits can also be extended if required. However, the application must be made at least 30 days before it expires.

What if the Study Permit is Lost?

You may lose your status as a student too. However, you can apply to restore your status within 90 days. This can only be done though if you continue meeting the requirements under which you were allowed to enter and stay in the country. You are not allowed to study until your status has been restored.
