When submitting an Intra Company Transferee Work Permit there are three main requirements you need to meet as the transferee to be eligible for this document. One of them would be ensuring you have worked with your foreign company for a minimum of 12 months. Also, as the Intra Company Transferee you have to show you are either specialized knowledge, managerial or executive meaning the position that you have been performing in your foreign country you either are specialized knowledge or have managerial or executive responsibilities.
When you are transferred to Canada you have to ensure that those duties still apply at least either under the specialized knowledge, managerial or executive level. You don’t necessarily have to perform the exact same job or duties but whatever you apply for whether it being specialized knowledge, managerial or executive you have to make sure that the job duties and job descriptions are mentioned.
The other requirement is that the foreign company as well as the Canadian company has to have a Qualified Relationship. What this means is that these two companies have to have some sort of relationship. One way of demonstrating this is by including corporate documentation, shared registration things like this to demonstrate the relationship.
Also, it is very important for the foreign company to continue to be operating once the transferee has been transferred to Canada.
