Are you looking into sponsoring your spouse to Canada? Not sure when you should start your sponsorship application? Well, clients who are still not married or are looking at getting married in the near future it is recommended to get the application started as soon as possible. When submitting a Spousal Sponsorship application there are many documents you need to include with your application to be successful one those includes the marriage certificate.
If you have not decided on the marriage date it ok to start collecting your other important documents such police clearances, medicals, documents that demonstrate genuineness in the relationship etc. So once you do get married you have already collected all the other documents and you just need to include the last portion of it which is the marriage certificate. However, if you wait until you get married and then proceed with the application you are wasting another 2-4 months to gather all your documents that you could have had by now.
