Super Visa Application for Parents or Grandparents Video

Super Visa Application for Parents or Grandparents

The super visa application is essentially a visitor visa geared towards the parents and grandparents of Canadian citizens and permanent residents. The Super visa is a viable solution for those who wish to remain in Canada for an extended period of time. At the discretion of immigration Canada the super visa can be valid for a period of ten years at a time. It will only require renewal every three years throughout the duration of its validity. The super visa takes into account the eligible relationship the citizen or permanent resident has with a loved one aboard who do not qualify to become permanent residents of Canada.

The super visa application is very similar to any other visa applications except for two major factors these factors are financial requirements as well as travel insurance. In order to be eligible you first need to have a parent or grandparent aboard who wishes to visit Canada for an extended period of time. Depending on your family size, there is a necessary income you need to have to demonstrate throughout your application.

Like any visa application Canada needs to be assured that you will have to show that the people or the person being sponsored will exit Canada at the end of their authorised period of stay. This means that they are bonafide temporary residents of Canada. A super visa application is a viable solution if your parents or grandparents and not interested in obtaining permanent residency in Canada but still want the ability to visit you now and again for an extended period of time. If you have a parent or grandparent aboard who are interested and you are a citizen or permanent resident you qualify.
