Persons with inadmissibility issue to Canada most likely require a Temporary Resident Permit (TRP) to enter Canada. Inadmissibility issues can range from minor to major offenses such as DUI, Misdemeanor, Felony, Assault, Misrepresentation etc. If you have an urgent travel date you may apply for the TRP at the Port of Entry or simple take your package to the border and get a same day approval/ refusal. At the border you will face an immigration officer who will ask you questions related to your inadmissibility and your reasons for wanting to travel to Canada. In order to have a successful entry you need to carry the supporting documents with you at the border and presenting it to the officer. The supporting documents include state clearances, FBI clearances and reference letters from family and friends, if you are travelling for business ensure to include an employment reference letter.
If you are looking at presenting a Temporary Resident Permit at the border, give us a call today and let us help you prepare a strong application for a higher chance of success.
