What do I need to do after I apply as a live-in caregiver in Canada?
After the visa office begins to process the Live-in caregiver work permit application, you will be invited to an interview. A visa office will interview to make sure you meet all the requirements of the program. You’ll also get instructions for medical tests and the background security check.
After passing a medical examination conducted by a panel Physician as well as passing a security screening, and having previously met all the other criteria for this application, you receive a letter of approval. The work permit will be provided to you upon arrival in Canada.
