New Requirements for Spousal Sponsorship Video

There are new requirements for Spousal Sponsorship applications which have been implemented in January of 2017. Specifically, the processing times for Spousal Sponsorships have been quite lengthy. Often times, for inland spousal sponsorships, the processing times would go over a year and a half to two years. On the other hand, for overseas spousal sponsorships, the processing times would go over two years. Because of this, many applicants became annoyed and frustrated with Citizenship and Immigration Canada. This severely affected their reunification with their families. As a result, CIC has thankfully changed the processing times to approximately twelve months. This is the case for both inland and overseas spousal sponsorship applications.
