This is done by submitting a use of representative form to Citizenship and Immigration Canada on behalf of your application.

Once this application has been submitted, Citizenship and Immigration Canada from there we will review the file that was already submitted.   We will address any weaknesses and make suggestions that might better your case. We will then work for the betterment of your case by submitting additional documentation, if applicable, to bolster your chances for success.

Just because an application is in transit does not mean that Citizenship and Immigration Canada will not review new information. In fact, anticipating the officer’s needs and submitting documentation to this effect will most likely work to your benefit when your application is being reviewed by an officer.
