The Co op Work permit allows international students to complete their internship in a different country, in this case Canada. There are many documents required when submitting/applying for a Study Permit because in order to obtain a Co op Work Permit you also have to obtain a Study Permit in addition to it. Your internship must be a requirement for your program at a recognised Canadian institution.
For the study permit, you are required to receive acceptance from a recognised post secondary institution inside of Canada.
When applying for a study permit you need to make sure to make it clear to the officer that you will be leaving at the end of your study permit duration.
In other words, when submitting your application prove to the officer that you will be a temporary resident and are coming to Canada solely for study purposes
