When to Apply for Canadian Study Permit

You can apply for Canadian Study Permit once you have received the acceptance letter from college or university in Canada. Once you have the acceptance the designated school requires you to pay the tuition fees. When submitting the Study Permit application you need to include the acceptance letter with your application and showing some sort of commitment to that school by paying the tuition fees or paying at least half the fees.

When submitting the Study Permit application include documents such as the acceptance letter, tuition fees you have paid, how you will support yourself during your time of stay in Canada and how you will pay when it is time to exit the country. Also, you must include ample amount of documents that demonstrates ties to your home country.

If you came as visitor to Canada, you are not able to apply for a Study Permit inside of Canada unless it is for extending your Study Permit.
