Shabnam Akrami, PA, B.A. (HONS.), M.A., LL.B. (UK)

Shabnam Akrami is the Managing Partner and Founder of Akrami & Associates.

Prior to receiving her Paralegal Diploma with Honours, she completed her Law Degree from the UK at the University of London as well as completed a Post Graduate Diploma.

In addition, she has also graduated from York University where she received both her Bachelor in Criminology and Masters in Socio-Legal Studies.

She is a Paralegal in good standing with Law Society of Upper Canada and Consultant with the Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council.

Prior to opening her own firm, she gained extensive experience in corporate immigration law; specializing in work permits, temporary resident permits and rehabilitation cases.

She has in depth and hands on experience in all Canadian Immigration and Citizenship matters. These matters include preparation and submission of applications for permanent residence, work permits, NAFTA applications, labour market opinions, temporary resident permits, sponsorships, and business investors.

Shabnam is dedicated to all her clients and committed to the successful completion of all the immigration matters in her care.

Natalie Nelofar Sahibi, BSc. (HONS), J.D

Natalie is one of our dedicated lawyers of the firm. Over the course of her career, she has assisted diverse clientele in a broad range of complex cases. She focuses on complex immigration matters, appeals, judicial review, corporate litigation, and white collar criminal matters.

Her previous experience in the fraud unit at the Orange County District Attorney's Office, working with Litigation Law group has enabled her passion for the law, develop advocacy skills and represent all clients. Natalie is fluent in Farsi, Arabic, and French.

She graduated from the University of Toronto Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Neuroscience and Biology with Honours. She moved to the US to further her career aspirations within the realm of law.

She is a successful attorney in good standing with the State Bar of California. She has won several awards for her work within the legal field. She graduated top of her law school class. She is a lawyer in good standing with the State Bar of California, specializing in corporate litigation and immigration law.

Laurete Hoxha Regulated Immigration Consultant

Laurete Hoxha is a Regulated Immigration Consultant with Akrami and Associates.

Laurete Hoxha obtained her Bachelor Degree in Law from "Luigj Gurakuqi" University of Shkoder, Albania in 2007. After that, she continued her education by receiving her Immigration Consultant with Honours from Humber College, Toronto.

After graduating from University of Shkoder, Laurete worked as a Legal Counsellor for the City Hall in Albania. Thereafter, as a Legal Assistant for two law firms in Brampton and Thornhill. She has gained extensive knowledge of current legal practices and terminology as well as experience of providing efficient administrative and secretarial support to lawyers and legal executives.

Laurete is a well-rounded and dedicated professional working exclusively on Canadian immigration matters with our firm. She has provided immigration solutions to corporations and businesses in various industries within the private and public sector. Laurete is highly knowledgeable in navigating through CIC processes, as well as submitting complex submissions relating to all types of Canadian immigration matters.

Laurete is committed to the department's abilities to provide effective client communications, as well as execute carefully tailored and accurate immigration solutions which meet both corporate or personal needs. Laurete is determined to ensure efficiency in the delivery of services provided in our fast-paced environment.

Jannette has recently completed her post-secondary degree in Political Science with Honours from McMaster University. Jannette has been working in the immigration field a little under a year. She is known for her organized work ethic, multitasking capabilities and professionalism.

Apart from working at Akrami and Associates she also works extensively with various Latin American communities within the GTA. In the past Jannette has been a member of various community service activities such food drives, feeding the homeless and newcomers programs within the Latin American community.

She looks forward to expanding her knowledge in the Canadian Immigration field and helping you and your family move to Canada!

Sean Azim, SEO, Head of IT

Sean Azim is the Search Engine Optimizer and I.T. expert at Akrami & Associates. He graduated from Seneca College with a Diploma in Computer Programming. Further, he received his General Arts and Science Pre-Business Certification through Trade and Apprenticeship studies at Seneca.

Prior to working with Akrami & Associates he worked at Viva Soft which is a business software development company. Sean worked there as a Programmer for two years.

Sean is committed to the expansion of Akrami & Associates through sound marketing and online strategizing. Further, he is always looking for ways to make the online client experience a smooth one.
