Shabnam Akrami is the Managing Partner and Founder of Akrami & Associates.
Prior to receiving her Paralegal Diploma with Honours, she completed her Law Degree from the UK at the University of London as well as completed a Post Graduate Diploma.
In addition, she has also graduated from York University where she received both her Bachelor in Criminology and Masters in Socio-Legal Studies.
She is a Paralegal in good standing with Law Society of Upper Canada and Consultant with the Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council.
Prior to opening her own firm, she gained extensive experience in corporate immigration law; specializing in work permits, temporary resident permits and rehabilitation cases.
She has in depth and hands on experience in all Canadian Immigration and Citizenship matters. These matters include preparation and submission of applications for permanent residence, work permits, NAFTA applications, labour market opinions, temporary resident permits, sponsorships, and business investors.

Natalie Sahibi US Immigration Lawyer
Natalie is a dedicated lawyer practicing in both federal and state courts in California. Over the course of her career, she has successfully represented a diverse clientele in a broad range of complex cases. Her practice area focuses on complex immigration matters, civil litigation, government investigations, and white-collar criminal matters. She welcomes any type of challenge and makes it her mission to offer support to her clients that not only benefit them now but help them secure a future of growth.
Upon graduating with in Neuroscience with Honours from the University of Toronto Magna Cum Laude, Natalie moved to California where she pursued her career aspirations within the realm of law. She is a successful lawyer in good standing with the State Bar of California, specializing in immigration law and litigation.
Natalie understands that behind each case she represents, there are individuals with families and the communities they serve. Her previous experiences at the Orange County District Attorney's Office and the Litigation Law Group has taught her how to be a fierce advocate for justice. Sana Khan is an immigration lawyer at Akrami & Associates.Immigration lawyer.
She completed her undergraduate degree in Bio-physiology at McMaster University. Following which she obtained a master's in public health from the University of Guelph. She completed her Law School at University of Ottawa, graduating with a JD in 2018. After law school, Ms. Khan articled with Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP in downtown Ottawa. focusing on Intellectual property law.
Ms. Khan is passionate about immigration law and has experience helping clients gather relevant documents; drafting legal opinions and submission and preparing documents and arguments for court proceedings.
Outside of law practice, Ms. Khan enjoys volunteering within her community.

Palmerino Vitti is an immigration lawyer at Akrami & Associates.
Palmerino is a barrister and solicitor, licensed by the Law Society of Ontario. He completed his JD at the University of Miami, after obtaining a Bachelor's of Political Science at Concordia University.
During law school, Palmerino advocated for foster youth in dependency court in an effort to reduce multiple placements, promote placement in family-like settings and improve the quality of group care.
Prior to joining Akrami and Associates, Palmerino articled at a criminal defence firm in Toronto where he gained a thorough understanding of the criminal justice system. Following this, he practiced as an employment lawyer, representing employees in a wide array of workplace issues including human rights complaints.
Outside of the office, Palmerino enjoys playing sports, listening to podcasts and spending time with friends and family.
Luka Vukelic B.A. (hons), M.A., J.D.
Luka Vukelic is a barrister and solicitor licensed by the Law Society of Ontario. He completed his JD at the University of Victoria, after completing Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Political Science at Simon Fraser University, specializing in Canadian immigration issues. During law school, he was involved in pro bono volunteering, worked at UVic’s legal clinic, which focused heavily on criminal defence (summary offenses), and also worked as a Risk Assessment Investigator for British Columbia’s Ministry of Public Safety and Solicitor General.
Prior to joining Akrami and Associates, Luka’s articling experience involved files in areas including refugee claims, family law, wills, small claims, real estate, and personal injury, giving him a well-rounded background in many aspects of the Canadian legal system. At the firm, Luka’s work primarily involves Express Entry, but he is also responsible for Temporary Resident Visas, spousal/child sponsorships, citizenship/permanent residency applications, provincial nominees, work permit extensions, and many other file types.
Luka is fluent in Serbo-Croatian. Outside of law practice, his interests include global politics, science and technology news, and nature. He looks forward to assisting clients with all of their immigration matters.

Constance Mensah Abebreseh is an immigration lawyer at Akrami & Associates. She completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology at York University before attending Osgoode Hall Law School where she earned her law degree. After law school, Ms. Mensah Abebreseh articled with a boutique immigration law firm in downtown Toronto assisting clients on complex immigration law matters.
Ms Abebreseh is passionate about immigration law and has experience helping clients on all matters of immigration law, including family class sponsorships, humanitarian and compassionate grounds applications, inadmissibility issues, PR card renewal applications, study and work permits and economic class categories.
Outside of law practice, Ms Abebreseh enjoys volunteering within her community. She's collaborated with numerous agencies such as METRAC, where she developed public legal education presentations on the criminal justice system and the rights of survivors of domestic violence. She has also been involved in initiatives that helped to curb youth violence within at-risk neighbourhoods.

U.S. Immigration Attorney
Mr. Rosamilia entered the legal field after a career in consumer finance and banking with H.S.B.C Bank and Bank of America, where he served both individual customers and institutions seeking mortgages and other financing with care and dedication. As a loan officer, he acquired customer service skills helping clients navigate difficult and complex transactions and his skill and knowledge of regulatory aspects of financial service led him to enter the legal profession.
Thomas graduated from Syracuse University in New York, where he participated in International Moot Law coursework and became interested in human rights law and worked with a non for profit law firm protecting the rights of disabled persons under both New York and U.S. Federal law.
He also worked for a couple of personal injury plaintiff attorney law firms. Mr. Rosamilia attended the State University of New York at Buffalo where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree and then a Master’s Degree in Arts Management and intends to concentrate in helping artists, performers and writers come to the U.S. to perform and work under non immigrant visa programs.
He is admitted to both the courts of New York State and to the United States Federal Court for the Western District of New York. His passions are the performing arts, his garden, his family and helping people as an attorney.
Rufus Williams, B.A., LL.B, J.D.US Immigration Lawyer

Rufus graduated from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor in Sociology, Philosophy and Criminology. He then went to law school internationally at the State University of New York at Buffalo Law School where his primary areas of focus were international and immigration law. He is now admitted to the New York State Bar.
Prior to working at Akrami & Associates, Rufus practiced in the field of Real Property and represented both banks and indigent homeowners in reaching mutually agreeable goals. Subsequent to that, he worked at a personal injury firm and represented hundreds of injured workers in litigating their claims.

Laurete Hoxha obtained her Bachelor Degree in Law from "Luigj Gurakuqi" University of Shkoder, Albania in 2007. After that, she continued her education by receiving her Immigration Consultant with Honours from Humber College, Toronto.
After graduating from University of Shkoder, Laurete worked as a Legal Counsellor for the City Hall in Albania. Thereafter, as a Legal Assistant for two law firms in Brampton and Thornhill. She has gained extensive knowledge of current legal practices and terminology as well as experience of providing efficient administrative and secretarial support to lawyers and legal executives.

Kamal Parmar is a Regulated Canadian immigration consultant RCIC at Akrami & Associates. He completed his Engineering degree in computer Science from Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College. He then studied Project Management from Seneca College. He has been working in the immigration field for 2 years.
Kamal also specializes in legal cases such as Express Entry and Spousal Sponsorship. He also works on all kinds of immigration matters, including Study Permits, Work Permits, Temporary Resident Visas, and all other immigration related cases.

Sheba Yusufzai, BALegal Assistant
Sheba recently completed her post-secondary degree in Political Science with Honors from York University. Sheba has been working in the immigration field for more than 5 years. Apart from working at Akrami and Associates, Sheba has worked extensively with convention refugees from all over the world at Toronto Pearson International Airport. Most recently Sheba has been a part of assisting Syrian refugees resettle all over Canada.
Apart from her professional life, Sheba dedicates her spare time to her community by volunteering with her local MPP in Toronto. In the past Sheba has been a member of book drives, clothing drives and student organizations at York University.
Sheba looks forward to continuing her academic aspiration in the Canadian legal field. Currently Sheba provides services in all areas of immigration practice. Jupinder completed her post-secondary degree in Business Administration and in addition has also completed a Master's Degree in Business Administration both from Guru Nanak Dev University in 2013. She has successfully continued her educational studies by completing a diploma in Project Management from Humber College and is currently studying in the Immigration Consultant program also at Humber College. Jupinder has been working in the immigration field for more than 3 years.
Apart from working at Akrami and Associates, Jupinder has worked as an Immigration Legal Assistant at another law firm in Brampton, Ontario. Once Jupinder completes her Immigration Consultant diploma from Humber College, she aspires to pursue and successfully complete her Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council (ICCRC) License. Currently, Jupinder provides a wide-range of immigration services and has provided services in successful completion of legal cases. Jannette has recently completed her post-secondary degree in Political Science with Honours from McMaster University. Jannette has been working in the immigration field a little under a year. She is known for her organized work ethic, multitasking capabilities and professionalism.
Apart from working at Akrami and Associates she also works extensively with various Latin American communities within the GTA. In the past Jannette has been a member of various community service activities such food drives, feeding the homeless and newcomers programs within the Latin American community.

Bahar received her Post Secondary Diploma with Honours from Humber College. Bahar has been working in the immigration field for approximately 2 years and is known for her attention to detail and client needs.
She has assisted in the successful completion of cases ranging from permanent to temporary matters and will find a way to get 'it' done. Prior to working with Akrami & Associates, Bahar also gained valuable work experience with an Architectural firm as the Office Manager.

Sean Azim is the Search Engine Optimizer and I.T. expert at Akrami & Associates. He graduated from Seneca College with a Diploma in Computer Programming. Further, he received his General Arts and Science Pre-Business Certification through Trade and Apprenticeship studies at Seneca.
Prior to working with Akrami & Associates he worked at Viva Soft which is a business software development company. Sean worked there as a Programmer for two years.
