Arranged Employment for Canada
Arranged Employment means having an employer in Canada extend a job offer of full time permanent employment. Having Arranged Employment may bring you closer to permanent residence as this will help you obtain additional points in the ranking system overall.
There is a point system for Permanent Residence, which requires you to meet a certain number of points in order to be successful. The higher the points you can obtain, the more likely the success of your application.
In addition, to the full time permanent job offer, your employer would have to get a positive LMIA (Labour Market Impact Assessment). The assessment will display the fact that your employer has made significant efforts to employ a Canadian resident first.
It is important to note that the job cannot be seasonal and the job must be under skill type 0 (managerial occupations) or skill level A (professional occupation or B (technical occupation) on the National Occupational classification (NOC) list.
